HELEN R. OLIVER CALAIS – Helen R. Oliver, 79, died Oct. 29, 2003, peacefully at her home in Calais. She was born May 5, 1924 in Houlton. She was a long time librarian at Calais Free Library, a pilot, and a sailor. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Oliver; one daughter, Jane Oliver-Purton of Wisconsin; two sons, David Oliver of Calais and Philip Oliver of Lyman; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. No memorial services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Calais Free Library, Union St., Calais 04619.
