PATTERSHALL MILFORD – Helma Pattershall, 68, died unexpectedly April 4, 2008. She was born June 4, 1939, in Teaneck, N.J., a daughter of George and May (Mixner) Van Zilen. Helma enjoyed crafts and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Milford; six children, Julia Heller, April Sherman, Kevin Pattershall, Bonnie Pattershall, Daniel Pattershall and Craig Pattershall; 12 grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; two brothers, George Van Zilen and Russell Van Zilen; two sisters, Kathy Larena and Viola Neu; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted noon Tuesday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Spring burial will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
