BREWER and SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Henry A. King, 83, died Sept. 16, 2005, at a Brewer healthcare center. He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Waterville, the sixth of nine children to Joseph A. and Lena (Proveau) King. Henry was a 1941 graduate of Waterville High School, and served with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in engineering, and remained in the Chicago area where he worked for Motorola. He retired in 1976, after 30 years with Motorola and had lived in Brewer since 2003. Surviving are four sisters, Florence K. Lamson, Doris V. Perkins, Evelyn K. Hayward and Frances L. King, all of Brewer, and all of his beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Donald J. King; and three sisters, Eva B. Bridges, Irene K. Parsons and T. Marie Webb. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor, celebrant.
