FRENCHVILLE – Herman “Armand” Marquis, 75, died May 19, 2005, at a Madawaska Nursing Home. He was born April 7, 1930, in Frenchville, the son of Patrick and Catherine (Chamberland) Marquis. He was a member of the American Legion Post 145 of Frenchville, he served in the U.S. Army and a Korean War veteran. He worked for Gerard Raymond Farm for more than 40 years. He is survived by one son, Danny and his wife, Debbie; three grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Sarah, all of Frenchville; one daughter, Linda Gagnon; two grandchildren, Gene and Carole, of Bangor; two sisters, Patricia Lavoie and Irma Bosse, both of St. Agatha. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorilla Belanger; four brothers, Nelson, Camille, Ronald and Irving. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville and 8:30 a.m. until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2005, at the St. Luce Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial in the St. Luce Cemetery.
