HUDSON, Mass. – Hiram R. Tupper, 74, died peacefully Friday, March 9, 2007, after a short illness. He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Sudbury, Mass., the youngest child of the late Victor E. and Harriet E. (Russell) Tupper. He was educated in the Marlborough schools, graduating from Marlborough Vocational High School in 1951. He lived in Sudbury and Marlborough, Mass., before moving to Hudson, Mass., in 1971. He worked at the Koehler Manufacturing Co., Marlborough, Mass., before retiring in the mid-1990s, and was the union steward there for many years. He was a member of the First Federated Church, Hudson, Mass., and was a frequent contributor to numerous charities. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Richard) Tupper, who passed away 1994. He is survived by his sister, Patricia E. Ashley of Lakeville, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Reginald W. Tupper; and his sister, Randa C. (Tupper) Moody. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough, Mass., at the convenience of the family.
