EAST MILLINOCKET Hubert “Bud” Clark, 83, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at a Howland health-care facility. He was born June 8, 1921, in Houlton, the son of the late Pearl Reardon and Zemro Clark. After graduating from Houlton High School in 1939, Bud enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving four and a half years, including a tour of duty in the Pacific, during World War II, earning a Bronze Star. He was a member of the VFW and the Masonic Lodge No. 96. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and was a “die hard” Red Sox fan. Bud worked in the grocery business for more than 50 years, he was well known by every one. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; a daughter, Pam and her husband, Gary Morin, all of East Millinocket; two granddaughters, Kelly Morin of Portland, and Amy her husband, Chris DeVeau, of Waterboro; a sister, Pat and her husband, Walter Johnson, of Kennebunkport; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at the Millinocket Cemetery, with the Rev. Regginal Adams, pastor of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God, officiating.
