VAN BUREN – Irene B. Duperry, 97, died Feb. 25, 2005, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born Aug. 26, 1907, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Belonie and Victoria (Garon) Beaulieu. She and her late husband Guy owned and operated a general store in Keegan for more than 40 years. Mrs. Duperry was a former member of the Evangeline Circle, Daughters of Isabella and the Ladies of St. Anne at St. Remi Parish. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Lapierre and her husband, Gerald, of Hamlin, Jackie Labbe of Madawaska; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Duperry in 1996; one daughter, Patricia Bouchard in 2003; two grandsons, Eric Labbe and Joseph Bouchard; and by a great-great- grandson, Dayton Lapierre. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, and 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
