GUILFORD, Conn. – Iris M. Crommett, 93, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004, in Fowler Nursing Center, Guilford, Conn.. She was the wife of the late Frank T. Crommett. Born in Patten, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Bates) Getchell. She was employed by the Chesebrough Ponds Co. in Clinton, Conn., for several years before her retirement. She is survived by a son, Roy C. Crommett of Waterford, Conn.; two daughters, Darlene Redfield of Westbrook, and Pauline MacAulay of Clinton, Conn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 22, in the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main St., Clinton, Conn. Interment will follow in Beaverbrook Cemetery, Clinton, Conn. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
