CORINTH and PEQUOT LAKES, Minn. – Isabelle “Issy” J. Blass, 86, wife of the late John W. Blass, died May 18, 2004, at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. She was born June 23, 1917, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Henry and Linda (Sieberlich) LaFontaine. She was a former resident of Minnesota and had been a resident of Corinthian Manor the last few years. She is survived by two sons, William Blass and his wife, Betty, of Knoxville, Tenn., and John Blass and his wife, Wanita, of Corinth; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. At Isabelle’s request, there will be no services. Burial will be in Pequot Lakes, Minn. Arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
