JONESPORT and ELLSWORTH Isabelle M. Coffin, 85, passed away, May 21, 2005, at a Machias healthcare facility after an extended illness. She was born June 14, 1919, at Jonesport, the daughter of the late Berton and Phyllis (Smith) Reed. She graduated from Jonesport High School as valedictorian of her class in 1937. She also attended the Maine School of Commerce in Bangor. Isabelle was a telephone operator for 18 years in Jonesport. Later she worked at Senter Crane of Rockland for a time before returning to Jonesport and later lived in Ellsworth. Isabelle was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellsworth. She was the past president of the Catholic Golden Age Group as well as a member. Isabelle was also the past president of Jonesport Literary Club and American Legion Auxiliary in Jonesport. Isabelle was an avid Red Sox fan. Isabelle is survived by a son, Ronald Reed, and his wife, Dawn; a daughter, Sharon Look, and her husband, Bert Sid Look; a son, William Coffin and his wife, Jane, all of Jonesport; eight grandchildren and their families, Bert “Binky” Look and his wife, Mary, and their children, Shafay, Starr, and Sidney Clark, William “Bimbo” Look and his wife, Letitia, and their children, Tasha and Ashlei, her “one and only” granddaughter, Tammie Alley and her husband, Robert, and their daughter, Justina, Wade Coffin and his wife, Crystal, and their children, Timothy, Cody, Brendon, Breanna and Breille, Will Coffin and his wife, Sara, and their children, Shelby and Caitlyn, Ronald “Chip” Reed and his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Sophia Marie, and Joshua Reed; a brother, Clarence Reed and his wife, Gwen; a sister, Doris Pratt and her husband, Harold; many special nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special friend, Virginia Gass, and her husband, Neil. Isabelle also leaves many dear friends both young and old, too numerous to mention, but each of you know who you are as she touched many lives. She was predeceased by her husband Donald; a sister, Ruth, and her husband, Hillson Beal Sr.; and a grandson, Timothy Coffin. Isabelle wishes to thank all those who loved and cared for her, especially, her extended family at Marshall Health Care in Machias. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias. A funeral mass will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with Father Scott Mower, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Golden Age Group, 231 Main St., Ellsworth, ME 04605 or to the Jonesport Animal Society, care of Dawn Reed, P.O.
