DOVER-FOXCROFT – J. Eric Love Jr., 76, died April 6, 2008, at a Dover-Fox-croft nursing home. He was born April 3, 1932, in Ells-worth, the son of James Eric and Leona (Atkinson) Love. Graduating from Tufts University, Class of 1954, he received a Bachelor of Arts in education. He was a lieutenant with the U.S. Air Force, 1954- 1958, serving as a navigator. He worked as principal at Kenduskeag Elementary School and later as director of Vocational Education in Greenville, Jackman and Dexter. He is survived by a sister, Patricia Whittemore of Venice, Fla.; four children, Jeffry Love and friend, Kerry Stone, of Dover-Foxcroft, Gregry Love and wife, Julie, of Nashua, N.H., Wendy Love of West Bath and James Eric Love III of Bushnell, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Whitney and Elizabeth Love. Friends are invited to call 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, until time of funeral service 11 a.m. at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with the Rev. Heather Kurtz officiating.
