WINTERPORT – Jackie (Clements) Adams, 43, passed away June 23, 2008. She was born Oct. 1, 1964, in Bangor, the daughter of Reginald Y. and Helen (Foley) Clements. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Winterport and graduated from Hampden Academy in 1982. After high school, she went to work for Eastern Maine Healthcare, and during her 26 years of service held various jobs within the hospital and organization. While working and raising her children, she also attended the University of Maine at Augusta, Bangor campus and graduated with a degree in social services. Jackie enjoyed her family and friends, but most important in her life were her children, Jenna and Nicholas. She was devoted to them and enjoyed going to all of their games and school activities. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and friend. Jackie is survived by her beloved children, Jenna H. and Nicholas G. Adams of Winterport; a sister, Mary Clisham and her husband, Steven, of Winterport; three nephews, Steven J. Clisham II and his wife, Melanie, of Winterport, Michael R. Clisham of Hampden, and John Clisham and his wife, Jenna, of El Segundo, Calif.; the father of her children, Donald A. Adams of Frankfort; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Family and friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt, pastor of St. Gabriel Catholic Church of Winterport, presiding. Interment will be in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport.
