JAMES ‘JIMMY’ CRAIG ORLAND and MEDDYBEMPS – James Edward Craig, 54, died unexpectedly May 7, 2005, at Cathance Lake. He was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Bangor, the son of Edward J. and Pauline E. (Gaddis) Craig. Jimmy graduated from Bucksport High School and E.M.V.T.I. in Bangor. After graduation he started work at St. Regis Paper Company, Bucksport. He worked two years in Indonesia, and retired last October from International Paper Company as Superintendent of number one and two paper machines. Jim enjoyed his many hunting and fishing trips, with his friends up north, and out west, as well as his trips to Alaska. He loved to go sailing and kayaking. Jimmy is survived by his father, Edward “Mooney” Craig, of Orland; aunts, uncles, several cousins, and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline in 2001; and an infant brother, Edward J. Craig III. “Mooney” would like to give special thanks to Tim Craig and Ernie Hansen. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday June 14, 2005 at the Elm St. Congregational Church, Bucksport, with the Rev. Linda Smith, officiating. Where visitation for family and friends will be at 9 a.m. until time of service. Following the service a gathering for conversation and refreshment will held at Brown Hall. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Bucksport. Donations may be in his memory to the Bucksport Community Concerns, P.O.
