HANCOCK – Jane Butler Ginn passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, after a long and corruptible battle with multiple sclerosis at a nursing facility in Ellsworth. She was born July 6, 1936, in Franklin, the daughter of the late Francis (Chine) and Thelma (Laurie) Butler. She attended schools in Franklin and graduated from Ellsworth High School, Class of 1953. Jane was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a homemaker. She cared for several children until they reached school age. She and her husband shared a great many hours at their camp on Great Pond in Franklin, where she enjoyed fishing. She was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church. Jane is survived by her husband of 41 years, Linwood A. Ginn; two children, Marty A. Seavey and his wife, Maria, and their three children of Southborough, Mass. and Debbie Seavey. She is also survived by a sister, Sharon Mussetti and her husband, Ronald; a brother, James Butler and his wife, Gail; along with two stepsons, Thomas S. Ginn and his wife, Linda, and James I. Ginn and his wife, Sue. There are several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. At Jane’s request there will be no funeral service. A memorial service at the Franklin Baptist Church, Franklin, will be held at a later date.
