March 20, 1997 Our Dear Little Girl, Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you and what you would be doing if you were still with us. How fast you would be growing up and learning, and, at 7 years old, how much fun you would be, and how much joy you would be bringing into our lives! We know you are being well taken care of, especially now that you have both of your Grandma’s and one of your Grampa’s there to hug you in our absence. That doesn’t seem to change the emptiness and longing we still feel, though it does help to comfort and calm when we need it. Your birthday is a special day, and a day for remembering, but we want you to know that every day is a day for remembering you in our hearts.
