ORONO – Janet Nash, 56, died June 8, 2005, at Treat Falls House in Orono. She was born June 29, 1948, in Waterville, a daughter of Ralph and Frances (Gasster) Nash. She is survived by a sister, Linda Lewis of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Michael Nash, of Mill Valley, Calif.; extended family Mom and Papa, James and Valerie Batson; sister and brother-in-law, Danny and Denise Handy; brother, Jimmy and Charlotte; nephews and nieces, Robbie, Alicia, John, Angel and Sara; and many friends of Addison and Gram Beryl of South West Harbor. Janet worked at Addison Point were she made many friends. Janet enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, camping, “raising the dickens,” being outdoors, especially four wheeling, but most of all children. Janet touched our hearts with her amazing smile, laughter and her love. Janet will be missed but never forgotten. Janet moved to Treats Falls were she made many friends. She is loved and missed by her extended family there; Kelly, Cassie, Karen, Joyce, Mel, Tammy, Gorden, Nancy, Terry and Katherine; and many friends at Capacita. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Treat Falls for the care and compassion shown to Janet. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Sunday at the Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge with Rabbi Barry Krieger, officiating. Arrangements by Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
