PRESQUE ISLE – Janice H. Porter, 72, died Thursday March 17, 2005, at her residence. She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Fred and Brenice (McGarrigle)Henderson. Janice is survived by her husband, Hollis Porter, of Presque Isle; a son, Stephen Porter and his wife, Sue, of Presque Isle; a daughter, Rebecca Henderson, of Presque Isle; a brother, David Henderson, of Easton; two sisters, Joyce Magaw of Bangor and Thomastine Henderson of Albany, N.Y.; five grandchildren, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was predeceased by a son, Samuel Porter. There will be no services at this time. A private graveside service will take place at Fairmount Cemetery later in the spring. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to the Hospice of Aroostook, Visiting Nurses of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME. 04736. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. .
