PRESQUE ISLE – Jason C. Charette, 30, died Jan. 26, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 2, 1975, in Columbus, Ga., the son of Carl and Brenda (Bird) Charette. Jason graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 1994. He worked as a lumber grader at the Pinkham Mill. He loved all different types of music and movies. Jason was also a sports enthusiast, enjoying Dale Earnhardt Jr., the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves. He was a wonderful cook who made the best hamburgers. Jason will be remembered for his big heart and his love for his wife and daughter. In addition to his parents of Mars, Hill he is survived by his wife, Jenny (Fournier) Charette and their daughter, Natalie “Peanut” Charette, of Presque Isle; sister, Dawn Charette of Mars Hill; paternal grandmother, Marie Charette of Connecticut; maternal grandfather, Ralph Grass of Mars Hill; mother-in-law, Mary Rivard and special friend, Gary Howard, of Washburn; brother-in-law, Brian Fournier and his wife, Crystal; sister-in-law, Carol Cameron and her husband, Ken, all of Presque Isle. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, Hunter “Little Man” Charette, Brian Fournier II, Madison Fournier, Hailey and Drew Cameron, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Raymond Morency, celebrant. A spring interment will take place at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
