FORT FAIRFIELD – Jason P. Hersey, 19, died Friday evening, April 2, 2004, at Washburn, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 12, 1984, at Presque Isle, the son of Lawrence W. and Tammy (Tracy) Hersey. He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, where he participated in the students baking a living program. In addition to his parents of Fort Fairfield, Jason is survived by two brothers, Steven R. Hersey and Jason’s twin brother, Justin A. Hersey, both of Fort Fairfield; maternal grandparents, Philip and Delores Tracy of Fort Fairfield; paternal grandmother, Theresa Hersey of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick; maternal great-grandmother, Ada Tracy of Caribou; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Archie Hersey; maternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Tracy Sr.; and maternal great-grandparents, Dan and Ethel Webb. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at the Celebration Center, Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. A time of fellowship with refreshments will be held at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately following the funeral service.
