FALMOUTH – Jean F. O’Brien, 86, of Northbrook Drive, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at a Falmouth nursing home. She was born in Lubec, the daughter of John and Faith MacDonald Flower. She was a member of the Head of the Baptist Church where she was very active and played the piano for many years. She loved quilting, especially making quilts for her family. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Maynard O’Brien in 1992; a son, David; and a daughter, Faith Beaulieu. She is survived by a son, Michael and his wife, Candace, of Cutler; a daughter, Mary Bell of Rutland, Vt.; four grandchildren, Jeannie, Jason, Tina and Lenny; and five great-grandchildren. There will be no funeral services. Arrangements are by Blais & Hay Funeral Home, Westbrook.
