WALLAGRASS – Jeanette (Dube) Ouellette, 65, died Feb. 1, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 30, 1938, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of Willie and Stella (Gallant) Dube. Jeanette is a past member of the Ladies of St. Anne in Wallagrass. She loved spending time at home and was an avid bingo and card player who enjoyed playing the odds. She worked as a house cleaner for 30 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Jeanette is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Roger Ouellette of Wallagrass; her son, Mark Ouellette of Terryville, Conn.; two daughters, Corinne Ouellette and special friend, Chase Chasse, both of Frenchville, Rachel and her husband, Gerald Blair, of Eagle Lake; three grandchildren, Billy Davenport of Frenchville, Jake Ouellette of Bristol, Conn., and Kyle Blair of Eagle Lake; one brother, Lawrence Dube of Eagle Lake; seven sisters, Laurine St. Germaine of Eagle Lake, Eunice Ayotte of Plainville, Conn., Louise Gorneault of Berlin, Conn., Mildred Brown of Eagle Lake, Bertha Lacombe of Avon, Conn., Maxine Cyr of Portage, and Genevieve Parent of Unionville, Conn.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mae Dube; and two brothers, Willie Dube Jr. and Armand Dube. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until time of departure for Soldier Pond Wednesday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home in Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Soldier Pond, with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating. Spring burial will be May 21, 2004, in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Wallagrass. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the Edgar J.
