VAN BUREN – Jeanne E. Thibodeau, 91, died May 12, 2008, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born April 1, 1917, in Canada, the daughter of Willie and Marie (Beaulieu) Leclair. Mrs. Thibodeau was employed as a cook at Borderview, Van Buren, and worked for many years as a cook and housekeeper at a parish rectory in Gardiner and in private homes. She is survived by three sons, Roland Thibodeau of South Portland, Richard and Dianne Thibodeau of Palm Bay, Fla., and Gerald Thibodeau of Scarborough; two daughters, Florelle Pritchett of Charlottesville, Va., Dorothy and her husband, Russell, of Van Buren; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Thibodeau, in 1962; and by one daughter, Patricia Jones, in 2005. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until time of service at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be at the parish cemetery.
