DELRAY BEACH, Fla. Jeanne Kagen, 84, passed away July 14, 2006, after a long illness. Jeanne was a very strong woman who had a lovely voice and found great joy in singing, playing mahjong and loving her animals. Her strength came in part from surviving some of the worst times in our country’s history; it helped her survive many years of personal illness. Jeanne is survived by her beloved daughters, Barbara Pincus of Bangor and Francine Kagen of Delray Beach, Fla.; and a devoted sister, Selma Silverman. Jeanne was a cherished grandmother to Joshua and Daniel Pincus. Internment will be at Menorah Gardens, West Palm Beach, Fla. Contributions in Jeanne’s memory made be made to Hospice by the Sea or the Humane Society.
