FRENCHVILLE – Jeannine C. Michaud, 81, died peacefully Aug. 28, 2006, with her loving and devoted husband, Gerard, at her bedside, at her residence in Frenchville. She was born Aug. 15, 1925, in St. Agatha, the daughter of the late Patrick and Alice (Corno) Chamberland. She was employed by SAD No. 33 for several years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Frenchville, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the American Legion Post 145 of Frenchville. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Gerard; and three children, Diane and her husband, Tommy, of Fort Kent, Dot and her husband, David, of Augusta and Mike and his wife, Patti, of St. Agatha. She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Tracey and Nikki Voisine, Melanie Michaud, Jacob and Ben Michaud. She also leaves behind a brother, Valier and his wife, Aline, of St. Agatha, Therese Martin of Sinclair, Esther and her husband, Edwin, of East Hartford, Conn., and Fern Chamberland of St. Agatha; and a very special aunt, Sr. Lorette Chamberland, Daughter of Wisdom; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Maurice Chamberland; and a sister, Lucille Michaud. Friends and relatives may call at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at the St. Luce Cemetery.
