DURHAM, N.H. and CRYSTAL – Jeffrey A. McNally, Sr. 41, died Jan. 11, 2005, after a courageous battle with ALS. He was born March 20, 1963, in Island Falls, the son of Samuel and Sandra McNally. Jeff graduated from Southern Aroostook Community School in Dyer Brook and moved to New Hampshire, where he was employed by Chemtan of Exeter. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Samuel McNally of Crystal. He is survived by his companion and angel, Karyn Krause, who taught us all the true meaning of love and devotion; his two children, Natasha and Jeffrey; and Karen’s two children, Ian and Courtney. Jeff is also survived by his mother, Sandra (Porter) McNally and her companion, Delbert Willett, of Crystal. Jeff had four brothers, Glenn and his wife, Doris, of Idaho, Bruce and his wife, Beverly, of Island Falls, Danny and his companion, Diana Morton, of Oakfield and Carl and his wife, Lisa, of Ashland; and also a sister, Deborah and her husband, Dennis Geiger, of Hodgdon. Jeff was a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by them all. He loved the outdoors, the mountains and his many fishing and hiking trips. He was well known for his unique talent for woodworking, which will be enjoyed by many for years to come. Jeff had many friends and especially enjoyed his numerous adventures with Steve Bell. A very special thank you to the wonderful hospice care providers who went above and beyond to provide outstanding care. Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at the United Baptist Church of Island Falls, with the Rev. James Flye officiating.
