VEAZIE – Jeffrey Charles Bryant, 47, died unexpectedly May 2, 2007, at his home after a long illness. He was born Sept. 9, 1959, in Bar Harbor, the son of Jean and Richard Belanger and the late Charles Bryant. He graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1977, and Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1978. Jeff worked at Pilots Grill for 17 years, and then was employed with Sam’s Club for the past 13 years. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Jonesport; a former member and past president of the Veazie Salmon Club; and a former member of the Bangor Lodge of Elks. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Jean and Richard Belanger of Veazie; very special friend, Jane Reynolds of Bangor; brother, Troy Bryant of Jonesport; a sister, Courtney Nadeau of Glenburn; three stepchildren, Susan Chapman of Carmel, Cherie House of Alton and Stanley Chapman of Arizona; three stepgrandchildren, Braydon, Jasmine, and Caleb; aunt, Judi Hardman and her husband, Dave, of Wiscassett; several cousins and one nephew. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Bryant; a sister, Stacey Fitzsimmons; grandparents, Harold and Lenora Wheeler and Julian and Velma Bryant; aunts, Joyce Gray, Janice Eldridge, Joan Beal, Ernestine Alley, Eunice Fenton, Mickey Bryant, and Gracie Merchant. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 7.
