HOLDEN – Jeffrey G. Chapman, 48, died June 2, 2007, at his home. He was born July 24, 1958, in Natick, Mass., the third son of Harold and Priscilla (Roberts) Chapman. He attended Westborough, Mass., High School, Sudbury Valley School, Framingham, Mass.; and earned certification and credit through extended education classes at Eastern Maine Community College. Jeffrey had great skill and enjoyed working with animals and plants. He performed a variety of work throughout his life, including breeding and training of racing Greyhounds in Florida, sous-chef, auto parts sales, cabinet assembly, and in recent years, had been employed by Henderson Logging, performing many tasks associated with land and building. Jeff is survived by his parents of Holden; three brothers, Stephen of Grafton, Mass., Jonathan of Dedham and Christopher of Grafton, Mass.; one niece, Ashley Chapman of Douglas, Mass.; two aunts, Charlene and her husband, Raymond Thibodeau, of Bangor and Marilyn Delmage of Indian Lake, N.Y.; five cousins, Robert Thibodeau and his wife, Darlene, of Brownville Junction, Cynthia Chapman of Carmel, Paul Percival of Quincy, Mass., Kelly Sittner of Amsterdam, N.Y., and Tracy Percival of Middle Grove, N.Y.; many second cousins. Jeff will also be greatly missed by his black Labrador, George, his constant companion. Interment will be private for the family at Chapman Cemetery, Newburgh, with a celebration of Jeff’s life to be held at a later date. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
