BRADLEY – Jerry Donald Dupuis, 66, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 17, 2007. He was born June 17, 1941, in Orono, the son of Francis and Irene Dupuis. He was a graduate of Orono High School. He was employed for 43 years with the former Penobscot Chemical Fiber, until his retirement in 2003. He also spent many years working with Ed Young on swimming pools. Jerry spent many hours at his hunting camp in Kingsbury Plantation surrounded by his many close friends. He also enjoyed swimming in his pool, fishing, reading westerns and yard sales. He had a love for clocks and eagles. Jerry enjoyed sharing stories of his life experiences with friends and family, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Erika. Jerry was a member of the Elks Club and Old Town Knights of Columbus. He also spent time doing RSVP volunteer work for the senior citizens of Orono. Jerry will be sadly missed by many special friends; and his favorite buddy, Deadwood, the family cat. Jerry is survived by his parents, Francis and Irene Dupuis of Orono; son, Jerry Jay Dupuis and his wife, Michele, of Bradley; special granddaughter, Erika Dupuis; three stepsons, Gary Parent and his wife, Penny, of Bradley, Tracy Parent of Bradley and Todd Parent and his wife, Karen, of Woodbridge, Va.; four stepgrandchildren, Von, Cassandra, Christopher and Brody. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the parish hall after services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Town High School Project Graduation, 203 Stillwater Ave., Old Town, ME 04468.
