ABBOT – Joan K. (Pulkkinen) Frink, 52, died May 23, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born April 1, 1952, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Herbert and Winifred (Dudley) Pulkkinen. She worked as a hairdresser in this area for more than 25 years and was a member of the Piscataquis County Democratic Committee. She is survived by her husband, Mark Frink of Abbot; her mother of Guilford; three sisters, twin sister, Jean Hunt and her husband, James of Brunswick, Susan Pulkkinen of Guilford and Andrea Pulkkinen of Portland; two brothers, Craig Pulkkinen and his wife, Joanie of Abbot and Lance Pulkkinen and his wife, Kathy of Sangerville; several special nieces and nephews. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 29th, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Lawn Cemetery in Guilford.
