MADAWASKA – John Bell, 57, died unexpectedly, Dec. 2, 2005, at his residence in Madawaska. He was born Nov. 15, 1948, in St. David, the son of Edwin and Bernadette (Martin) Bell. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in 1968-1969 and had been employed at Fraser Papers in Madawaska for the past 23 years. He is survived by two sisters, Jackie Winslow and her husband, Buddy, of California, Md. and Rose Marie Porter and her husband, Arnie, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Eddie Bell of St. David and Peter Bell and his wife, Diane, of Madawaska; one son, Jesse Bell of Gray; and his mother, Marsha Hardin of Portland; two uncles, Bee Bell and his companion, Therese Stamos, of Madawaska and Anthem Dufour of Sebring, Fla.; one aunt, Jeannine Dufour of Sarasota, Fla.; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one uncle, Alyre Theriault. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the Daigle Funeral. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the St. David Church. Interment will be in the St. David Cemetery in the spring.
