GREENVILLE – John C. Jacques, 77, died June 27, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 19, 1927, in Lac Megantic, Canada, the son of Hillaire and Germaine (Goulet) Jacques. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a life-long resident of Greenville. He worked for more than 43 years for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He is survived by his companion, Darlene Chambley; one son, Michael Jacques and his wife, Sandra, of Greenville; one sister, Renaude Gove of Gloucester, Mass.; several stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Trudell) Jacques; one brother, Guy Jacques; and two sister, Louise Cyr and Mary Rogers. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the family lot in the Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C.A.
