BANGOR – John Duncan McLean Sr., 65, of Bangor, husband of the late Terrie (Duplisea) McLean, died Dec. 9, 2004, at a local healthcare center. He was born Oct. 6, 1939, in Bangor the son of the late Lawrence T. and Ernestine A. (Myrick) McLean. John retired after many years employed by the City of Bangor at the Bangor Auditorium. Surviving are one son, John D. McLean Jr., and his wife, Bobbilyn, of Hampden; one sister, Jean M. Kitchen and her husband, Elmer “Bud,” of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; two nieces, Rhonda Merrill and Lynn Henderson; two nephews, Jeffrey Kitchen and Lawrence Kitchen, several cousins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, chaplain of Husson College officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
