HOULTON – John H. Monahan Sr., 89, died May 25, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Jan. 8, 1916, at Houlton. John worked in the Houlton area for many years as a truck driver. He is survived by two sons, John Monahan of Falmouth, Harry Monahan of Casco; two daughters, Patricia Trube of Marshfield, Mass., Brenda Belyea of Houlton; 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Friends may call noon Saturday until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
