BREWER – John Raymond Hatch, 77, formerly of Bangor, died peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2004, at his home. He was born in Exeter, the son of Arland and Anna (Dow) Hatch Sr. John was employed by Wrights Flooring and Magazines Inc. from which he retired. He was an avid NASCAR and Red Sox fan. He served in World War II and received an honorable discharge from the Navy. He now joins his beloved wife of 56 years, Dorothy, who passed away on Oct. 9, 2003. He is survived by one son, Harry Hatch of Bangor; two daughters, Susanne Beede and John Crane of Clifton, Peggy and Ken Bouchard of Brewer. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, Robert Beede Jr. and Vickey Rice, Tammy Bell and Jeff Cronk, Christopher Hatch and Dawn Reese, Sherry and Larry Parent, Tina Moreau and Mark Baughman, Melissa Rice, Kristy and Kenneth Kimball and Travis Kimball. Among the family are eight great-grandchildren, Steven, Tyler, Joshua, Kaitlynn, Kayla, Alex, Heidi and Trent. John leaves behind two brothers, Paul and Arland Hatch. The family invites you to share in conversation and refreshments during visiting hours from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Private interment with military honors will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
