DADE CITY, Fla. – John Ray Penticoff passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, at Hernando Pasco Hospice, after a severe illness. He was born March 7, 1957, in Brockton, Mass., to Loraine C. and John Penticoff. He attended schools in Bridgewater, Mass., graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School and then went to Rhode Island Technical College. He moved to Dade City, Fla., in 1982 and worked at various jobs there, including Dade City Glass Co. Before his passing, he was employed by K&K Glass of Zephyrhills, Fla. His interests included hunting, fishing, photography and computers. Above all, he loved his family. His family was his life. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer; grandson, Donovan Penticoff of Dade City, Fla.; mother, Loraine Penticoff and her husband, Alan Pray; one sister, Terri Ellis and husband, Randy, of Bridgewater, Mass.; two brothers, William Chipman and wife, Judy, and Dale Chipman of Chiefland, Fla.; three nieces, Lisa Crowley, Jessica Reynolds and Katie Andrade; one nephew, Ross Chipman; one great-niece and two great-nephews. He will be especially missed by a longtime friend, Michelle Danella, and her daughter, Cheyenne. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 U.S. Highway 301, Dade City, Fla., and will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Bragdon- Kelley Funeral Home, Main Street, Milbridge. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Gilbert Pinkham Cemetery, Harrington.
