MADAWASKA and FORT KENT – Joseph Leonce Michaud, 68, died Jan. 23, 2004, at a Madawaska healthcare facility. He was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Fort Kent, the son of Fabien and Elizabeth (Theriault) Michaud. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Freda Marquis of Fort Kent, Arthur Michaud of St. John, Regina Bosse of Southington, Conn., Amanda Dumais of Plainville, Conn., Eva Soboluesky of Florida, and Lena Ouellette of Weeks Mills. He was predeceased by his parents; and six brothers and three sisters, Alve, Eddie, Alphie, Severe, Reginald and Hubert Michaud, Edwina Bouchard, Lea Crommett, and Lydia Michaud. Friends may call 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Bill Labbe officiating. Spring burial will be held May 12, 2004, in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent.
