MILLINOCKET – Joseph Raymond Leveille, 67, beloved husband of Suzanne (Someil) Leveille and father of three children, died peacefully at a local hospital. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, surrounded by his family and friends. Joseph was born in Berlin, N.H., June 9, 1937, the son of Oscar and Eva (Durant) Leveille. He was employed at Great Northern Paper Company for 40 years, retiring in 1994 due to an illness. Joseph loved his family and enjoyed his camp, cooking, gardening, and playing cards. He was a CCD teacher for 30 years and an active member of the Men’s Marian Rosary for 20 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Suzanne Leveille; and their three daughters, Roseline and her husband, Donald Raymond, Trish and her husband, Maynard Pelkey and Lisa and her husband, Eric Lewin, all of Millinocket; six grandchildren, Brian Raymond, Matthew, Tyler, Justin, and Taylor Pelkey, and Eric Richard; one brother, Maurice Leveille and his wife, Bertha, of Oxford; two sisters, Rita Montgomery and her husband, Robert, of Lincoln, and Madeline Dinsmore and her husband, Carl, of Auburn. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Eva Leveille; and his brother, Robert Leveille. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Millinocket.
