FORT FAIRFIELD – Joseph T. Webb, 54, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 4, 2008, after a brief illness. He was born April 17, 1954, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Roy D. and Lois E. (Conant) Webb. He was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1973. Joe began farming as a young boy and soon grew into a man from his experiences working on the farm. Joe’s kindhearted disposition and selfless nature made him a friend to everyone he met. The love Joe had for the farm life was reflected in the way he cared for and maintained his property. At the time of his death he was employed by McCain Foods. He was predeceased by his father, Roy D. Webb. He is survived by his mother, Lois E. Webb; one brother, Mark Webb, both of Fort Fairfield; three sisters, Gail Webb of Fort Fairfield, Lorraine “Lorrie” Webb Davenport of Presque Isle and Marilyn “Mickey” Webb of Scarborough; aunts and uncles, Bernard and Connie Webb, Jacqueline “Jackie” and Roy Tomlinson, Annalee Webb, Delores and Philip Tracy, all of Fort Fairfield and Ronald Webb of Easton; nieces and nephews, Rene? McKenney and her husband, Jay, Alison Michaud, LeeAnn Michaud, all of Fort Fairfield, Stephen “Stefan” Davenport of Presque Isle, Jessica Flanagan and Christopher Flanagan, both of Scarborough, Sadie Webb, Malcolm Webb and Matthew Webb, all of Fort Fairfield; special cousins, Bridget Cyr and her husband, Mike, Heidi Webb, Darcy Webb, Dedra Webb, Blair Webb, Travis Webb, George Webb, Bob Webb and Kenneth Tracy; special lifelong friends, Sonny McShea, Dallas Hanscomb, Jerry Boulier, all of Fort Fairfield, Mark Munroe of Wisconsin; and many others to numerous to list. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, at the Celebration Center, 170 Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held immediately after the interment service at the Celebration Center reception area.
