SINCLAIR – J.R. Normand Derosier, 71, passed away April 27, 2006, after a brief illness, at the Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent. He was born Sept. 1, 1934, to Donat and Jeanne (Dube) Derosiers, on the family farm in St. Agatha and moved with his family to Biddeford when he was very young. He attended St. Joseph’s Grammar School and graduated from St. Louis High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves. In 1955, he married Solange A. Levesque and worked on the Levesque family farm for several years. He was also a master plumber and oil burnerman and was self-employed as Norm Derosier & Son, Plumbing and Heating. He was married a second time to Doris (Bouthot) Inkel, who predeceased him. He retired from the plumbing business and moved, along with his wife Dot, to Sinclair, where he lived until his death. He is survived by three sisters, Jeannine and husband, Joe Poisson, of Springvale, Claudette and husband, Bob Bisson, and Edwina and husband, Phil Poisson, of Sanford; three natural children, Susan D. Varney of Biddeford, Denise J. and David Dunn, and Guy N. Derosier of Saco; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and several stepchildren and stepgrandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. May 6, at St. Joseph’s Church in Sinclair and a memorial service will be held 10 a.m. May 6, at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
