FRANKFORT – Judith Evelyn (Eaton) McIntire, 60, died March 19, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Deer Isle, the daughter of Horace Carlton and Elnora Freida (Eaton) Eaton. Judy loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and cooking, having picnics and cookouts. Anyone who knew Judy loved her and will miss her. She is survived by three children, Carl C. McIntire Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Swanville, Horace C. McIntire and his special companion, Kathleen Lathe, of Unity, Loretta McIntire and her special companion, Joseph Grotton, of Frankfort; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Gove and her fianc?, Cory Webb, of Stonington; four brothers, Melvin Eaton and his wife, Debbie, of Deer Isle, Henry Eaton and his wife, Karmell, of Sedgwick, Philip Eaton of Sedgwick, Carly Eaton and his special companion, Helen, of Brooksville; special adopted daughter, Doria Dunham of Knox; many friends including special friends, Arthur Bragdon Sr. of Frankfort; several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Carl C. McIntire Sr. May 11, 2004; two sisters, Mary Eaton, Evelyn Eaton; and two brothers, Wiley Eaton, Edwin Eaton. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at the Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Jim Begley officiating. A gathering of conversation and refreshment will immediately follow the service at Judy’s home, 301 Loggin Road, Frankfort. Spring Interment will be in Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
