In Loving Memory Of KANG YI (GABRIEL HUBERT CANNING) Sept. 24, 2000 – May 27, 2003 This is in memory of our little angel – Kang Yi, (Gabriel Hubert Canning). All of us; his wonderful, brave big brother – Kang Tien An (Dexter Gordon Canning), his parents, Rob and Ruby Canning of San Hsing, Taiwan; grandparents, Gordon and Mary Canning of Dexter and Rev. Liz Vernon of Eddington, as well as the Lius of Lo-Tong, Taiwan; uncles, Don Canning of Fairbanks, ALA., Tonio Liu, his wife Isa, their two daughters, Lillian and Josephine of Lo-Tong; his aunt, Cher and her husband, Jay, their son, Jeff of San Hsing, and aunt Chuan Hue, in Taipei; great grandparents in Riverton, Wyo. and Taipei, Taiwan; and many other friends, loved ones and family, both in the USA and Taiwan love him very much. We want you all to know that this happy little child lived a happy 2 1/2 years in Taiwan with Rob and Ruby. He was a wonderful, happy little boy. Liz, in 2001, Amah, and Gordon, Au Gong, in 2002, were privileged to care for him, walk with him to the temple, hold him, talk with him (the language he didn’t understand), read to him, feed him and love him dearly. He would have been three years old on September 24, 2003. We miss him terribly. Both he and his big brother, who is safe in Taiwan, give us incredible joy. His family and friends here and in Taiwan
