BANGOR – Karen Ann Horton, 50, died June 27, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 24, 1956, in Waterville, the daughter of Royal and Pauline (Gray) Jones. She is survived by her mother of Harwich, Mass.; her son, Tony Horton of Auburn; her daughter, Melanie Horton of Portland; two brothers, Jonathan Jones of South Yarmouth, Mass. and Royal Jones III of Bourne, Mass.; three sisters, Linda Rust of Harwich, Mass., Cynthia Jones of West Townsend, Mass., Paula Ainsworth of Centerville, Mass.; two grandchildren, McKenzi and Emily Horton of Auburn; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father. A service of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., Route 28, West Harwich, Mass.
