NATICK, Mass. – Karen (Lebel) Boone, 50, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 6, 2008, after a long illness, at her home. Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Lionel and Florence (Lavoie) Lebel. Raised in Van Buren, she had been a resident of Natick, Mass., for the past seven years, previously residing in Dover, Mass. Prior to her illness she had been an underwriter for Allied Home Mortgage Co., Needham, Mass. Throughout her life she enjoyed arts and crafts, and especially cooking. She was the wife of Ralph J. Boone of Natick, Mass.; sister of Robert Lebel and his wife, Elaine, of Jacksonville, Fla., Elaine Ouellette and her husband, Lenny, of Jacksonville, Fla., Glen Lebel and his wife, Sandra, of Glenburn, Mark Lebel and his wife, Sugi, of Crestview, Fla., Brenda Wesley and her husband, Michael, of Satellite Beach, Fla., and the late Phillip Lebel; aunt of Amanda, Michelle, Danielle, Tina, Michael, Randy, Todd and the late Adam Lebel. Also survived by her canine companions, Buddy and Gizmo. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at John Eve-rett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., Natick, Mass., with visiting hours 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be private.
