MADAWASKA – Karen Medve, 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2004, at her residence in Madawaska. She was born in Lansing, Mich., April 8, 1955, the daughter of Alfred and Cecilia (Potter) Linn. In addition to her father of Venice, Fla., she is survived by her husband, Barnabas Medve, of Madawaska; two brothers, Terence Linn of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Walter Linn of Lansing, Mich.; three sisters, Mary Kay Sisson of Brenham, Texas, Linda Carefelle of Nashville, Tenn., and Patricia Muldoon of Hartford, Conn.; a special aunt and uncle, Patricia and Tom Schulte of Lansing, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will he held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Karen’s family will be receiving family and friends at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday. Interment will be in Lansing, Mich.
