STOCKTON SPRINGS – Karl S. Johnson, 74, died Feb. 14, 2007, at a Penobscot nurs-ing facility. He was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Boston, son of Karl A. and Christine G. (Brennies) Johnson. Karl was a truck driver and a skilled mechanic whose abilities took his family all through the country and Marsh Hill, Mass., was a family favorite. He lived for many years at Belfast Square Apartments, where he enjoyed the community. He is survived by four children, Gloria Seavey and her husband, John, of Searsport, Karl R. Johnson of Searsport, William H. Johnson and his wife, Deborah, of Hulls Cove, James A. Johnson and his wife, Sandra, of Searsport; their mother, Joan Johnson; brother, Ronald J. Johnson of Virginia; former daughter-in-law, Laurie Johnson of Searsport; 12 grandchildren, Dennis, Annette, Robert, Jennifer, Billy, Jessica, Tabitha, Justin, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Krystal and James Jr.; seven great-grand-children, Abby, James, Dennis III, Violet, Christian, Harley and Kylee. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Robert W. Johnson and John B. Johnson. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Spring interment will be at Mount Prospect Cemetery, Stockton Springs.
