BANGOR – Kathryn “Kay” E. Davis, 88, passed away April 18, 2006, at a Bangor hospital to be with her beloved husband, Malcolm Davis and a son, Robert. She was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Machias, the daughter of Charles and Agnus Blyther. She will be missed deeply by those close to her. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Davis of Bangor; three sons, Malcolm Jr. and Mike of Bangor, Jim of Jonesport; 10 deeply loved grandchildren, Roger, Bobby, Nicole, Noelle, Chad, Christy, Michael, Amanda, Jimmy Jr. and Stacy; six great-grandchildren, Justin, Alec, Danyon, Iceys, Jessica and Mathew. She will be dearly missed by her family dog, “Scooby.” Friends are invited to meet with the family noon-1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with Elder Almon Emerson officiating.
