MARS HILL – Katrina Bartley-Good-Burtchell, 92, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at a Presque Isle nursing home. She was born July 20, 1912, in Easton, the daughter of the late Wellington and Alice (Flewelling) Bartley of Beacons Field, New Brunswick. Mrs. Burtchell taught school for 34 years; 10 years in New Brunswick and 24 years in Maine. She was also a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of Mars Hill. Mrs. Burtchell is survived by three brothers, Herman and his wife, Audrey, of Centerville, N.B., Claude and his wife, Jeanne, of Portland, Eugene and his wife, Gemma, of Houlton; sister, Grace Lee and her husband, Tom, of St. John, N.B.; five stepchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Lee Good in 1962; and Ossie Burtchell in 1983; two sisters, Velma and Vivian; three brothers, Martin, Austin, and Alden. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, at the Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill, where funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Richard Bell officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Larlee Creek Cemetery, Perth-Andover, N.B.
