ELLSWORTH and HARTLAND – Kenneth D. Snell, 84, died Jan. 13, 2005, at an Ellsworth rehab and living center. He was born Dec. 10, 1920, at Sioux City, Iowa, a son of Warner and Elsie (Harrison) Snell. He served in the U. S. Army in Burma and India during World War II, and later, in Korea. Ken was a member of the Masonic Order, The Shrine, and served many years as an advisor for DeMolay. He retired from General Motors Company and moved to Maine to be near his family. During retirement, he was a volunteer driver for the Bangor Veterans’ Outreach Center. He is survived by his daughter, Marsha Giordano of Old Town; five grandchildren, Anthony and wife, Stephanie, Peter, Shera and Marcus Giordano, Annette and husband, Joseph Martinez; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Max and Raphael. He was predeceased by his wives, Dora and Dollie; and his son-in-law, Justin Giordano. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
