STOCKTON SPRINGS – Kristopher C. Seekins, 16, died unexpectedly April 5, 2005. He was born Oct. 18, 1988, the son of Robert E. and Dianne R. Seekins. Kristopher was a student of Searsport District High School where he had many special friends. Kris enjoyed snowboarding with his father and sister and trail riding on his snowmobile. Making his mom and sister laugh was a special treat for Kris. He also enjoyed basketball, skateboarding, riding on his ATV, and playing his guitar. His favorite thing to do was work on motors with his very best friends. Kris loved to eat Nanny’s pancakes. In the summer he liked to go camping with his cousins and tell entertaining stories around the campfire. He will be remembered for the way he lit up a room with his smile and his quirky sense of humor. Spending time with Kris was always an enjoyable experience. Kris will be sadly missed by his father, Robert E. Seekins of Stockton Springs; his mother, Dianne R. Seekins of Belfast; and his loving sister, Jessie Anna Seekins. He is also survived by his grandfather, Robert “Gramp” Seekins; and grandmother, Henrietta “Nanny” Seekins of Stockton Springs; grandmother, Kathleen Larrabee of Northport; uncle, Brent Seekins and his wife, Alta, and their children, Alexis and Aaron of Swanville; an aunt, Beth Seekins and her son, Bryce, of Swanville; an aunt, Brenda Thomas and her husband, Fred, and their children, Luke and Emily of Islesboro; an aunt, Elaine Carnahan and her husband, Bud, and their children, Adam, Katie, and Matthew of Northport; an aunt, Nancy Dodge and her husband, Frank and their daughter, Melanie of Belfast; an aunt, Sandra Peaslee and her husband, Dan and their children, Bill, Jen and Sarah of Belfast; and many, many more extended family; very special friends; and his favorite dogs, Dunkin and Quoddy. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Searsport Congregational Church. Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, from 12-1 p.m. at the church.
