CLIFTON – Larry A. Floyd, 58, died July 6, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 28, 1948, in Bangor, the son of Gilbert and Dora (Clewley) Floyd. He enjoyed golf, sharing his lunch with his dogs, loved watching hockey and especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria (Mann) Floyd of Clifton; two daughters, Tanya Clapp of Hampden and Deanne Mayo of Reno, Nev.; one son, Eric Floyd of Clifton; four granddaughters, Samantha Floyd, Candice Mayo, Desiree Floyd and Adrianne Mayo; one grandson, Robert Lizzotte; a brother, Gilbert Floyd and his wife, Karen, of Florida; a sister, Margaret Gutierrez of Brewer; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with Dr. Deborah H. Carney officiating. Friends may visit 1 p.m. until time of service. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the services at the Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, Reception Rooms, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
